Wedding Favours
For over a thousand years, since the early days of European History, favours have been given to celebrate special occasions.
Every detail of a good wedding is filled with special meaning, and modern day favours are a 'thank-you' which are given by the bride to symbolise special acknowledgement of friends and relatives sharing the joy of her wedding day.
Many different styles are available, and here at 'Dragonfly' we have tried to mix both traditional Italian design with more contemporary style - to bring you a fully comprehensive range to include everything from simple boxes filled with Scottish Tablet and candles, through to our exclusive Christmas Bauble and compact mirror wedding favours.

Novelty Items
Italian Style
All favours (excluding some of our novelty items) are available with a choice of luxury fillings, rather than the traditional 5 sugar almonds, representing wishes to the happy couple of "Health, Wealth, Happiness, Long Life & Fertility". Sugar coated hearts, foil wrapped chocolate hearts, Thorntons chocolate, childhood favourite sweets etc can be used, as can our own hand-made Scottish Table.
Please note, however, that favours are priced empty (unless otherwise stated) and our luxury fillings will incur an charge (please see options below).

Hand-made Scottish Tablet
We can now offer your premium hand-made all butter Scottish Tablet to fill your wedding favours (add 75p to cost of favour box), made fresh close to your wedding date, and individually packaged into little self-seal bags so as not to mark your favour boxes!

We are now delighted to be able to offer a choice of Thorntons Chocolates as favour fillings, with several different classics available: -
(Cost on an individual basis, and wholly dependent upon the number of chocolates you require in each favour, type of chocolate etc - please ask for quotation). From left to right: Diplomat, Champagne Truffle, Alpini, Hazelnut Noisette, Cappuccino, Seville, Apricot Parfait, Brandy Truffle, Vanilla Truffle, Champagne Heart (Gold Foil), Chocobeurre Heart (Red foil), Sicilian Lemon Mousse, Catalana (Caramel Truffle),and Viennese Truffle.
Italian Confectionery
Gold Foil Wrapped Hearts
Each of these solid chocolates is around 6g, and wrapped in coloured ribbed foil.
I would suggest 5 to fill our general sized boxes - add 80p (for 5) to favour cost.
Sugar Coated Chocolate Hearts
These are small sugar coated heart shaped chocolates (approx. 1cm in size), and the cost of filling favours with them is wholly dependent upon how many you require in each box.
Also, silver and gold are much more expensive than colours (please ask). As an approximate cost, if using 20 hearts per favour, then add 80p (not silver or gold) per favour for filling.
Alternative Fillings - Childhood Favourites
Obviously you may want something completely different as a favour box filling, and should you have something in mind, perhaps your childhood favourite sweet, then just let us know, and if it is still available, then we will source it specially for you!
